This is good for hosts like Cubase which is running plugins in the background at all times. Error message refering to "wrong file format" should not appear now. Hosts that "stimulate" the above message should run more smoothly. Menu option to reset a module to its default values. 00.09.04 A new module, the Noise gate 2 added. A new module, the Reverb 4, a high quality stereo reverb with a lot of parameters. Global input & output gain now available in the chain commander. Emagic Logic Audio can now save ReValver settings. (Can be used for compensating for "hot" pickups, or lowering the output volume etc...) Input & output signal levels can now be monitored in realtime in the chain commander display. 00.08.19 Fixed stability issues regarding certain DirectX hosts. Programs that have earlier crashed and referred to floating point exceptions should now be running more smoothly. 00.07.24 First official release! Go for it! 00.07.16 Near-Linear phase response (LPR) filters for more Hi-fi sound. Look in the manual! (LPR filters are turned off by default.) Presets have been organized acording to genre. Rewinding a track in a multitracker no longer adds echos to the beginning of the track. All preamps now have a gain of maximum 48dB (compared to 32dB previously). 00.06.27 SAW can now properly retain ReValvers settings. In other words, the apparent output volume is not changed significantly when the input gain is changed. You should look over the presets and adjust the output volume on the preamp accordingly. For all of you out there with multiple soundcards, now you can choose which ones to use. Removal or replacement of Preamp4 no longer crashes. In ReValver Live, you can now record to disk. "Memory leaks" when using room simulation is now plugged. Doubleclicking on a knob, now brings up a slider. 00.05.21 Opening too many ReValver windows at once in the same DirectX host (For example Cakewalk or Acid) no longer crashes the system. New accurate speaker modeling. Speaker modules now includes room ambience and configurations of 1x8, 1x10, 1x12, 2x10, 2x12, 4x12, 4x10 In Cakewalk, permanently applying ReValver with (Edit -> Audio effects) now produces correct results. (Previously, if a 16 bit project was used in Cakewalk, the track may have been silenced or unprocessed.) ReValver no longer complain about "block size" in SoundForge. GUI changes: Introduction of the "Chain commander" module implies a shrinking of the GUI. Slight performance increase in ReValver Live. Significant stability in low latency modes using WDM drivers. Documentation also available in RTF format (readable in Wordpad). ACID issues resolved: - Transparent parts of ReValver no longer shows ACID workarea. - Saving preset in ACID no longer "hides the graphics". The "Choose module" window now clearly indicates that only one module at a time can be selected. Introduction of "legacy mode" recording & playback makes ReValver Live compatible with Win NT4. 00.05.12 Improved latency in ReValver Live (60-80 ms). Incompatibility issue with Cakewalk identified. A realtime "loopback adapter" inserts ReValver between the input & output of your soundcard. Latency between 50-200ms ... ReValver no longer crashes if you insert a new module at the beginning. Dehiss knobs now comes in the correct order. 00.02.21 WARNING. Your old presets CAN be used but in some cases they may sound differently. All settings for poweramp's are now being ignored. All modules are now ' virtual 19" rack modules '. This should make the transition from the "real world" a little bit easier... An auto Wah Wah has been included. ReValver can now be used with any samplerate. Filters where earlier aligned to 44100 Hz Host application with multi-track support no longer "hangs" when ReValver-enabled track ends before the end-of-song. (ReValver was sensitive to zero-volume input.) This also speeds up the multitracker whenever there is no sound on a track. 00.02.12 Some pdf documentation has been added.
